User Data Deletion

1. Email your request

Email support@appointik.in with the subject Appointik data deletion request. You can use the email link or send a message directly from your preferred email service.

You can also send the same request to appointikteam@gmail.com. Both addresses handle privacy, deletion and WhatsApp disconnection requests.

• Provide your name and the email address or phone number associated with your Appointik account.
• If relevant, include your clinic name and say whether you are a patient, clinic owner or authorized staff member.
• Tell us whether you want to delete your Appointik account, specific personal information, or data associated with a Meta/WhatsApp integration.
• For a WhatsApp integration request, include the connected business phone number if you know it.

Do not send passwords, one-time codes, access tokens, government identity documents or medical records in your initial email.

2. Verification and processing

We will verify that you are the account holder or authorized to act for the clinic before deleting or changing information. We may ask for limited additional information through a support conversation.

We will explain the scope and expected completion time after reviewing your request and confirm the outcome by email. You can ask for a status update by replying to that conversation. Where applicable law sets a response deadline, that deadline applies.

3. What a deletion request covers

You can request deletion of account and contact information, support information, and information held by Appointik in connection with Meta/WhatsApp, such as connection identifiers, authorization credentials and message-operation records associated with your account. The scope depends on which features you used.

Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, medical-record requirements, billing, security or resolving disputes. We will explain any applicable limits. Patients seeking deletion of clinic-managed records should also contact their clinic; we may need to coordinate with that clinic.

Deletion from Appointik does not delete messages already delivered to recipients, information independently held by your clinic, or data controlled by Meta/WhatsApp. Those parties' policies and applicable obligations govern their copies.

4. Disconnect WhatsApp or stop reminders

Disconnecting WhatsApp means removing your clinic's WhatsApp connection to Appointik. It is separate from closing your Appointik account or letting your prepaid subscription expire.

Clinic owners: email support@appointik.in with the subject Disconnect Appointik WhatsApp integration. Include your clinic name, account contact and business phone number, and ask us to disable Appointik WhatsApp messaging and remove any clinic-owned account connection. We will verify your authority and confirm the action taken.

If you granted Appointik access through Meta's business settings, you can also revoke the relevant access there. Ask support for help identifying the connection if needed.

Patients: contact the clinic that sends your appointment messages and ask it to stop WhatsApp reminders. You can also block the sender in WhatsApp. If you need Appointik's help, email us with the sender's number and your request.

Disconnection stops the integration after it is disabled; it does not automatically delete your Appointik account, clinic records or previously sent messages. Include a separate deletion request if you also want associated data removed.

5. Subscription expiry is separate from deletion

Appointik is a prepaid monthly or yearly service. If a clinic does not renew, it cannot create new patient or appointment records. Non-renewal is not a request to delete data or disconnect WhatsApp; use the request routes above for those actions.
